All Good 02:58
It's all good But it's never any better than when we're hanging in da hood You would if you could I wish you would It's all good But it's never any better than when we're hanging in da hood 2 g's rolled in da wood What's good, What's good Too many problems, not enough time So don't come around and try to waste mine Cause I got rise up above the madness I can't keep living my life in sadness I got find serenity, somewhere inside of me Hatred blinds to the point you can't see To the point you can't remember who you are How did I let myself drift so afar Sometimes I forget to smile, sometimes It's for awhile But if I sit around and frown, that helps the devil keep me down The fear of doing something that I never had to do before But who really knows what's behind the door For the first time in a long while I can put on a real smile Now I am living life like I should I can finally say it's all good It's all good But it's never any better than when we're hanging in da hood You would if you could I wish you would It's all good But it's never any better than when we're hanging in da hood 2 g's rolled in da wood What's good, What's good I stay happy as a desert in a drought Got no doubt like a loser in a rout It's a cold world, even in the heart of the summer I guess that's why some of us feel number Remember you can't live in your past The present is here, the dye is cast The future is all but unknown Written in the wind, never on the stone Sitting in the saddle on the journey of your soul Traveling through the only world that you've ever known Alone your thoughts, start to drift and the wonder I am in the present, my past I don't ponder For the first time in a long while I can put on a real smile Now I am living life like I should I can finally say it's all good It's all good But it's never any better than when we're hanging in da hood You would if you could I wish you would It's all good But it's never any better than when we're hanging in da hood 2 g's rolled in da wood What's good, What's good All good It's all good Its all good It's all good Keep your head up It's all good

Standing on the avenue Gave up everything that you knew Now your living a life of sin 3 sheets 2 da wind The tribe used to meet in the days of yore Now we meet up outside the liquor store Lay your blankets down on the grass Somebody dropped their drink now there is broken glass Stand up on the corner asking for a quarter You used to have a car but it lost the motor Get a dose of reality Blurred vision has no clarity Now when did we cave What happened to the brave You can think your free and still be a slave Did you reach what you set to achieve? Where did you lose your self esteem? 3 sheets 2 da wind Are you ever going to come back again? 3 sheets 2 da wind Are you ever going to come back again? I wouldn't do that if I were you (oh no, no, no, no) I wouldn't do that if I were you (I wouldn't do that) 3 sheets 2 da wind Are you ever going to come back again? 3 sheets 2 da wind Another day living a life of sin If your eyes wonder, don't let your eyes stare How do they determine what's yours and what's theirs? Where did our land go? Where do our boundaries stop? The only Indian land has a smoke shop I wonder is that's all that's in store for me Broken promises, missed opportunities Broken arrows, broken dreams, polluted streams Not having a chance even if you got the means Maybe you got go back to the start Remember all things that's close to your heart And the days are coming back like you never knew before Maybe I should have stopped and kept score I don't think I'll ever understand Why you got expect the worst of every man Smoke signals coming over the hill A destiny to be fulfilled 3 sheets 2 da wind Are you ever going to come back again? 3 sheets 2 da wind Are you ever going to come back again? I wouldn't do that if I were you (oh no, no, no, no) I wouldn't do that if I were you (I wouldn't do that) 3 sheets 2 da wind Are you ever going to come back again? 3 sheets 2 da wind Another day living a life of sin When I come back, it's like I never left I play the game with no rules, no whistle, no ref Got round up the warriors, yeah we ain't left Cause there's more of us here than teeth eat by meth Yeah I walked the roads, yeah I know that path Where everyone thinks life is a joke so they laugh Laugh 'til they cry, speed 'til they die Why do all my friends now live in the sky? If you ask my why I can't tell you that I just know all this liquor won't bring 'em back But I pour it on the ground just where they were at Cause your seat and a swisher pack Sliding on the ice now you broke through So deep down, but they can still save you Seven deadly sins is how you expire Kiss the flames and now your burnt by desire 3 sheets 2 da wind Are you ever going to come back again? 3 sheets 2 da wind Are you ever going to come back again? I wouldn't do that if I were you (oh no, no, no, no) I wouldn't do that if I were you (I wouldn't do that) 3 sheets 2 da wind Are you ever going to come back again? 3 sheets 2 da wind Are you ever going to come back again? Come back again Come back again Come back again Come back again

As I return from my sleep, I wake on the planet Anywhere I place my feet on the ground I can stand it Anywhere that I go I can hold my own If your real than your real, It's already known Anything worth mastering just takes practice I am pulled back and forth between both axis Gravity pulls and weighs a ton Plants stretching out their limbs reaching for the sun If you never learn it, it never be known What you never look at, will never be shown They can't innovate, so they just imitate Carbon copies, always come out as clones Bring home the bacon, live high off the hog In the grand scheme of things you ain't nothing but a cog You either real from the start Or you just actor trying to play the part It's just what I told ya but you didn't hear It's just what I told ya It's just what I told ya but you didn't hear Let them hate so long as they fear It's just what I told ya but you didn't hear It's just what I told ya It's just what I told ya but you didn't hear Let them hate so long as they fear Money corruption, back room deals Empty the till, head for the hills Nerves of steel, ice in the veins Head down south on a back county lane Find a side street, dip through the back roads Get a grip, find a firm place to hold Find a place that you can lay down your head But as you toss and turn your thoughts are where your fear is fed The ebb and flow and life moves as shifting sand I am above it and breathing, part of the plan Never let your eyes leave of what is sought Distraction is a battle constantly fought Success favors those that's well prepared If your ready there's no need for you to fear Put it back in the farthest part of your mind Until your reminded of it at another time It's just what I told ya but you didn't hear It's just what I told ya It's just what I told ya but you didn't hear Let them hate so long as they fear It's just what I told ya but you didn't hear It's just what I told ya It's just what I told ya but you didn't hear Let them hate so long as they fear Killa

Somethings you gotta keep to yourself Tell it to no one and no one else Sometimes you get pushed around Fall down on your face like the tears on a clown Some days trouble comes down like rain You try to run away from all your pain Looking for the answer in the bottom of the glass Look at the clock, how much time has passed Somethings you gotta keep secret How you tried and you just couldn't reach it Tried to learn it but they just couldn't teach it Didn't believe it 'til you heard them preach it Some thoughts that pop in your head Are better off left unsaid Some thoughts that pop in your head Are better off left unsaid Don't sell yourself short Don't let them report That you gave yourself away Don't sell your soul For a piece of gold When heaven is just a mile away Don't sell yourself short Don't let them report That you gave yourself away Don't sell your soul For a piece of gold When heaven is just a mile away (a mile away) Well you hope someday they learn your name And time only fans the flame Counting every win and loss One more bridge for us to cross One more road for us to take And this life is just what you make I hope your staying on the right track Well temptation comes right back So you hold it all in Kept it close to your chest Look to the future and hope for the best What is life, life's a test And you hope that you don't end up just like the rest So think before you make your move Stay in the rhythm, stay in the groove Think before you take that chance There's a consequence to that dance Don't sell yourself short Don't let them report That you gave yourself away Don't sell your soul For a piece of gold When heaven is just a mile away Don't sell yourself short Don't let them report That you gave yourself away Don't sell your soul For a piece of gold When heaven is just a mile away (a mile away) A mile away A mile away A mile away Don't sell yourself short Don't let them report That you gave yourself away Don't sell your soul For a piece of gold When heaven is just a mile away Don't sell yourself short Don't let them report That you gave yourself away Don't sell your soul For a piece of gold When heaven is just a mile away (a mile away) A mile away A mile away A mile away

about

Native Hip-Hop band Risk On Da Disk returns with their anticipated 4 track E.P. "Concrete Reservation" 12/31/23. Drawing on the inspiration around them living in the concrete reservation of Tulsa, Risk provides stories of triumph and heartache of those that live on the rez. The E.P. is started off with a conscious hip hop track with a positive message in "All Good". From there the E.P. flows into songs such as "3 Sheets 2 Da Wind" and "Don't Sell Yourself Short", which highlight the perils of alcohol and drug abuse, as well as depression and suicide that plague native communities. Featuring positive lyrics, bluesy guitar leads and a steady reggae rhythm throughout, Risk On Da Disk is sure to make you move and think with this E.P.
